All orders which contain livestock must now be at least £10.00 in value, before shipping costs have been added. Unfortunately, due to tight profit margins, we have been forced to put a minimum order of £10.00 on our shopping cart. All orders which contain livestock and are of a value of less than £10.00 will be cancelled and refunded. This new rule will enable us to REDUCE our prices for livestock, giving our customers better value for money.
Orders which do not contain livestock are not subject to the minimum spend rule (i.e. there is no minimum spend)
Examples of shopping cart contents & the application of the rule:
Order Example 1:
2 x apple snails @ £2.00 each.
Order value of £4.00 = ORDER WILL BE DECLINED AS LESS THAN £10.00 & CONTAINS LIVESTOCK
Order Example 2:
2 x apple snails @ £2.00 each
50ml of Snailstrong liquid calcium @ £6.49
Order value of £10.49 = ORDER WILL BE ACCEPTED AS GREATER THAN £10.00
Order Example 3:
1 x 50ml of Snailstrong liquid calcium @ £6.49
Order value of £6.49 = ORDER WILL BE ACCEPTED AS DOES NOT CONTAIN LIVESTOCK.

Please check your order immediately upon the day of delivery and report any problems to us via email.
All 'Dead on Arrival*' claims MUST be made on the day of delivery.
All 'Dead on Arrival' claims must be supported with photographic evidence.
Snail Shop also reserves the right to request that the stock be sent back for post mortem examination.
Snail Shop will choose to issue a pro-rata refund, credit voucher or replacement of the DOA at our discretion.
Postage/shipping charges will not be refunded under any cirumstances.
*Please Note! Snails may often stay in their shells for several days after arrival as they acclimatise to new water conditions. A dead snail will be physically hanging out of its shell and has a disgusting ‘aroma’! Please give your snails time to acclimatise. If you are worried that your snail may be dead, please email us on the day of arrival.
- Snail Shop's Live Arrival Guarantee is only valid for the DAY ON WHICH YOUR ORDER ARRIVES (i.e. the day you sign for your order.) We will not be accountable for deaths thereafter, as we have no control over the conditions you provide.

Snail Shop will not be held accountable for any problems/deaths encountered in relation to livestock compatability, water chemistry, further transportation, acclimatisation and other related issues which may affect the wellbeing of livestock.
